Review summary

Good cruise. California is not exotic, but we found many fun activities on shore. Meals and service were first rate.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining superb. Good meals, steak available most nite. No lobster, crab, etc however. Dive-in hot dogs and burgers excellent. Morning buffet crepes and omelets (both made to order) were fabulous.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Only 1 pickleball court, must have reservation. 2 of 3 times I was not able to get one. Still I love pickleball! Tournament games were fine.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
"OK" is a good descriptor. Dancers were actually pretty good, just not my thing.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin clean, well maintained, but LOUD noise from BB King club made it hard to sleep before 11:30 pm or so. If you "love the night life" not a problem!

Ship tip

Check noise issue if you are near a club like BB King, or Billboard, etc.

Good, but only spent a few hours here (literally). Look to see how long you are in each port. This one was tender, so it cut drastically into our minimal time.

Disembarkation

OK, once we GOT STARTED. Didn't arrive early enough to get our suitcases unloaded in timely fashion. We had an early plane, so it was tight!
