Review summary

We boarded Koningsdam on April 15, 2016.  The ship is brand new, so super nice.  The staff are professional and friendly.  We appreciate Alex for helping us with the training, Dede and BangBang for constantly cleaning our room, always with a smile, and Andy and Dewa for serving us in the Dining room.

However the management should look into the food in the Lido deck.  It is so boring for us to keep eating the same food everyday.  They need to change at least half of the stations!  And please skip Crete from your itinerary!  It is so boring and wasted a whole full day!  I suggest that you skip Crete totally and spend 2 days in Naples, so at least we get a chance to do more excursions there.

Food and Dining

The dining room is good, Lido deck food is sad, need to change everyday so it doesn't become boring! The other fine dining restaurants should be open for lunch for change of taste!

Yes, I too have been to Crete and loved it.  When i was in Naples we were warned to be careful there.

We had a blast in Crete:) funny how experiences can be so different. We did the Hop On Hop Off bus (12 euro) then went to the market and got some great deals on sandals and had a wonderful lunch and some high school kids came to the center and started singing and playing guitar! Naples to us was so dirty! That's the city I wanted to skip;) all in all it was a fabulous trip.
