Review summary
It was a good cruise and we had good weather. It had been six years since we did the large ship cruise (prefer the small ships or land travel). I thought the food had improved on Royal Carribbean, as the last time I rated in one-step above "cafeteria food." We went to relax, walk around the port towns and enjoy a pre-dinner martini and a nice dinner. We did exactly that. Room service was very quick. The bartender at the Champagne Bar was excellent and we went there each evening before dinner. I liked catching up on movies at the theater. The comedian was very good at the live show. The elevators barely stay open long enough to run to the one that arrived. By the time you realize which one, it's gone! That was annoying. Everyone was having trouble with the internet service in order to print boarding passes for flights home and it's very expensive to use. We were visiting friends on the East Coast (we're from California) so it was a good cruise while we were out there, but I would never fly from CA just for the cruise.Ship experiences
