A Great cruise with wonderful ports

Sail Date: September 24, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We loved the Jewels of the Sea. The size was perfect for us. We do not like the real big ships.

Pros: We liked all the ports. Not to many days at sea

Recommends Jewel of the Seas? Yes!

Oslo, Norway
Beautiful port. Very expensive to shop.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
We thought it was a little dirty. My husband enjoyed walking through the Red Light District. I liked the canal ride.
Don't Miss: Anne Franks House
Copenhagen, Denmark
The little Mermaid
Hamburg, Germany
Went on a tour. We went to Lubeck. Very Pretty.

Le Havre (Paris), France
We went on a tour to Normandy. We both enjoyed it. It was very educational. Also the memorial cemetary was beautiful, but sad.

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium
This was our favorite port. We went on a tour to Brugg & Ghent. We loved Brugg. A quaint little town.
Dublin, Ireland
We didn't like our tour. The bus took 2 hours to get out of Dublin. A lot of traffic. Went to a small town called Avoca. It was ok.
