I'm both too and never found it an issue. The MDR's are far more accommodating than the buffet though as you can order your evening meal a day in advance. My only gripe is the cheese, the lactose free option onboard ship is awful so I always take my own.

Hi there, I’m coeliac and have always found the ships easy to manage. Plenty of choice just need to ask for the options in the fast food type places, I’ve never had any issues, in the buffet there’s is a section of free from foods like butter/bread etc. have a lovely holiday.

The answer is yes, speak to the restaurant manager or in the buffet one of the head chefs and tell them what your needs are.
