Review summary

Outstanding service and entertainment. We felt safe with covid precautions. This was our first time sailing out of Galveston... would consider again. Smaller ship is fine for just my husband and I. Went to the casino and played slots a few nights and we enjoyed that and probably will do so again.

Entree options a couple of nights in the MDR weren't great but the staff was wonderful. Suite lounge figured out how to make me a grasshopper martini😁

Shows and performers were all great! We would stop every night in the pub to listen to a young lady playing guitar and singing.

Royal caribbean service has always been great and in this cruise it was outstanding!

We're use to a larger ship but it was easy to get around. My husband thought the car on the promenade should face the front of the ship so that messed us up a couple of times. Contact and cleanliness were awesome... no worries!

Cabin / Stateroom

Room and balcony size was great! Lots of storage. Room was very clean. Room steward was very thorough in cleaning. One issue is the storage area referred to as a refrigerator. It's useless. I like to bring leftovers and cold deserts back to eat later or in the morning. The frosting would be melted 2 hours later. I raised the issue but was told that's the way they work by maintenance team.

Ship tip

The car on the promenade faces the back of the ship. And visit the small bars to listen to the great music.

The old mini bar refrigerators were replaced with electric coolers which use less energy. So they'll keep a cold drink cool for a while (about 50 degrees) but they aren't refrigerated.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. I had to laugh about your refrigerator issue, I had the same problem on a Carnival ship and got the exact same response. They're pretty useless, I'll probably bring some of those first aid instant cold packs next cruise 😊
