Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Generally a good variety of food. Most of it wasn't great, but it was always passable -- and occasionally I was served a surprisingly good dish, like a perfectly cooked rack of lamb on the final night of the cruise. Considering the large number of crew from India, I would like to see more (spicy, authentic) Indian food made available to guests. The Windjammer buffet had some of this, but it was still really mild.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The fitness center has an unbeatable view of the open ocean and plenty of space to work out and stretch. The running track on the upper deck is also worthwhile in the morning and evening, just note that it can be crowded in the afternoon with people moving between their deck chairs.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Royal Caribbean does a great job scheduling a wide variety of sometimes cheesy but always enjoyable performances. Our cruise had a good mix of song, dance, live comedy and films.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff were attentive, polite and had excellent suggestions. I was very impressed!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Fresh from a recent update in 2018, the ship is looking good.
Cabin / Stateroom

A surprisingly pleasant ocean view cabin. I had modest expectations, and they were exceeded.
Ship tip
Skip the $80 food tour in Falmouth, Jamaica and instead head to the Hampden Estate rum distillery, which offers a generous lunch and plenty of history for $50.
This is a great private peninsula on Haiti's northern coast. Beautiful beaches and calm aquamarine waters are complemented by some fun activities like the big zipline. Also: check out the views from the relatively quiet spa area on shore.
