Review summary

It was a relaxing cruise. Ship is big enough not to feel crowded. By today’s standards service was pretty good. Food was ok.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Royal has spent allot of money to turn this into a playground. Some of us like the natural beauty of these islands. We took the luxury sailing yacht tour. It was a very relaxing 3 hour tour. Crew was great. Rum punch was cold. We had 16 onboard. 15 might be the max for it not to feel to crowded. The shopping at Labadee is a nightmare with everyone trying to pull you into there booth to sell their commercially bought stuff as hand made. Every booth has the same stuff.

The port was nice with the usual jewelry and trinket stores made in China. We did the doonebuggy tour with lunch. Drove 1hr 15min each way to do a 45min off-road. Positive side was they were Polaris razors. Course was challenging in spots. Muddy and wet. Take extra pair of clothes and towel. You will get soaked in mud. They should drop the lunch part and extend the time out driving the course.
