A lovely weekend cruise to just get away from it all. I will be back.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had expedited embarkation which made our travel time fast and easy. Staff was helpful, always with a smile.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was good, not a lot of variety. Drinks were plentiful but some bars had better quality drinks than others. The bars by the pool seem to have watered down alcohol as opposed to the ones indoors.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Fitness center is large, clean and we didn’t have to wait for machines. The pools were overcrowded at times but not terribly so. Hot tubs were always packed and we did not even venture near them.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
While the stage shows, comedians and professional dancers and singers were excellent, the head of entertainment and his underlings were the WORST. They lack charisma, almost come off as bored and just want to get through the game and have little to no engagement with the audience. They should ALL be let go. We were on the same cruise in March and the director was a guy named Jamie who was the first one up on the dance floor having fun and bringing the crowd into the fun. We missed him.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Tyrone!! The maitre d in the dining room was excellent this time around as well as last cruise. Made our lives so much easier as he knew kosher and was very amenable to our requests. He is the BEST!

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin size was small but adequate for 2 people. Gloria kept our room clean and tidy. She requested that they open the balcony between our two rooms so that we could enjoy the outside with our friends next door which really made our trip special.
Ship tip
Bring metal straws as the paper ones get soggy within a minute or so 😀
A long winding line through the dining room and back kitchen only to end up where we started. We got splashed by the people cleaning the pool deck above while waiting on this disastrous line. We had to pause at one point for 10 minutes due to a back up downstairs. Save time for disembarkation as it may take awhile.
Metal straws are very dangerous. If you trip and fall with one, you can do serious damage/injury to your mouth or other part of your body. I am bringing my own individually wrapped plastic straws.
