Personally, in my honest opinion, of someone who has cruised RCCL, NCL, and Carnival——- Carnival wins, hands down, for the very friendliest, helpful staff all around the ship in every department. Without a doubt. And the worse goes to RCCL. We were WOWED, as advertised, on our RCCL ships, and we LOVED the Freestyle Cruising concept of NCL, but the fun, great food, and friendly staff goes to Carnival. I’m sick of snobby people saying that Carnival is the “Walmart of cruising”. It s not. My husband and I are college educated retired professionals that earned a good salary during our career, and we prefer Carnival. My suggestion to you is to give Carnival a try. We love the Dream class.
