Review summary

This was our first and last cruise on Royal Careabean. The service did not meet our expectations developed from our numerous cruises on Celebrity. For example when I purchase the unlimited digital photo package include the digital prints. Your just going to throw them away so it doesn’t cost you anything to show some appreciation. Plus I don’t know if you put all our photos on the disk or if you even gave me the correct disk.

Not great just ok food. Drinks take forever and there are few staff rounding to take orders so you always have to go to the bar.

When it comes to the photo packages you can get the digital, prints, or both. Unfortunately they are not going to give you something you didn't purchase. If that's the case they should give all the prints for free to everyone since they are throwing them away. I'm sure they are probably recycling them.

Service has deteriorated on Independence . Although I love the ship it's different to a few years ago. Waiting for service in the pyramid lounge. Not enough staff at all. If they let these things slip people will try other cruise lines. Can't fault other bars . Oh and they need decent music. Bring back Rock The Boat .

I wasnt being nasty. Its obvious that they came onboard already thinking that celebrity is better. They expected both cruiselines to be identical. Each cruiseline is different and has its own good points. I loved Celebrity but Royal Caribbean is just as good and has more fun things to do.

I've been on both Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. Both are great. Sounds like a rather snobbish attitude.
