staff was not as friendly as other cruise lines i have taken, food was terrible, and ship was outdated. on-board show was nice, but staff needs better training and more personality

we saw a person that had been kidnapped on the back of a truck. this wasnt the cruise line's fault, but it speaks to the poor security in the area visited. zoom in on photo.

Couldn't agree more with Radish. The staff work long hours, far away from home and they always appreciate people being friendly and appreciative.

Not sure what some people expect from the crew I think they do a fantastic job for the money they get paid and when I hear the way some passengers talk to them it's not surprising that they might have a bad day. !!!!

Yet there are a couple of other reviews put on at almost the same time saying that the food was good and praising the staff. We had a great time when we last went in September and can't wait for our next cruise.

Love the Independence! The staff were excellent! The food was great. And Grease was unbelievable!!! The ice shows always shine.

Wow, Indy is one of my favorites. Hope it hasn't gone downhill that fast. There are certain staff that even remembers us and come up to say hi, food was always good, and love the layout of the ship. Trying freedom soon.
