Review summary

We had a wonderful time on the Independence of the Seas.  The highlights were the balcony room, the entertainment on board, and the overall activities available.  The weather was not accommodating for our shore excursions due to rain, but did not dampen our experience.  Departing the ship was also slow due to Customs, probably something that more experienced travelers are already aware.  We are looking forward to the next time that we have the opportunity for a cruise, most likely would not choose Haiti or Jamaica again.

Rained through both ports and some of the time at sea.

Did you do excursions through real tours?

Dunns is overcrowded....I wouldn't go there. Research "real tours Jamaica" they give great alternative tours...blue falls for example...avoid the masses of people.

I wanted to do Dunn's Falls. Is it better to pay there?

Haiti and Jamaica were both beautiful....we just got back....save money and don't do excursions through RC!

Why not Haiti or Jamaica? Did you not like those ports?
