Review summary

there were too many people everywhere...for the amount of people there wasn't enough space to sit and eat, no available equipment in the gym, no place by the pool, 40 min wait to get to see the show...etc. Kinda like in Disney parks when kids are out of school. Food was ok.. We all got bit by bed bugs. my husband and I had to take pepto bismol for 2 days out of 4 because the food wasn't that good....on the bright side shows were really good and the rooms are big. I would not recommend this cruise though, I wouldn't go again.

My husband and I had an awesome time on Independence of the Seas!! It was so much fun, we can't wait to book another cruise on the Independence. Yes, some of the areas on the ship were crowded...But, I think that is to be expected, considering the amount of people the ship can hold. We just made sure to arrive early to get seating at the show we attended. We had no complaints about the food...and the crew members provided excellent service. No complaints here!!

Cruise director was truly fantastic...food was delicious and we had great weather. Loved this ship and can't wait to go back!

I was actually on this cruise too! Yes it was a little crowded but very manageable! We had a blast! Poolside was crowded but around the adult pool people were very considerate. With a little bit of patience we were able to get chairs everyday. The shows in the theatre were awesome! Never had a 40 minute wait. We walked in and got a seat and the shows started right on time!

I call BS. I have never seen a bedbug on RC or had any food give me heartburn. how do you wait 40 minutes to see a show? just show up and sit down and I have never seen a single show not start on time. Use some common sense on Sea days not everyone can sit right next to the pool you can come early to get lounge chairs or sit on the upper levels.

I have been on this ship 7 times and have never found a problem at any time maybe you were unlucky or expectations to high? I love this ship and have booked it again for 2016 there's 12 of us going and all looking forward to it
