Review summary

We had a great time. Still had tons of things we could have done had we had more time as we really didn't get to sit and enjoy the music like going to Dueling Pianos or listening to the DJ/bands up on deck much. Perfect Day at Coco Cay we just relaxed in the shade and took a dip in the water and at the buffet and that was wonderful. Definitely needed more time to take advantage of the spa--book a pkg prior to the cruise if you can and same with specialty dining if you want to try those restaurants out (definitely wanted to try out Izumi as I love hibachi but didnt get to) but there is plenty of complimentary food to be had. Enjoyed a little time in the casino, left while we were ahead and had fun at BINGO and some of the game shows. It's a real drag to leave and come back home, was such a good time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We went to the Windjammer the most frequently, always tons to choose from. The service was top notch everywhere. We did not go to any specialty restaurants, the Main Dining Room, Windjammer, Pearl Cafe and Surfside Eatery were all great. The Washy-Washy boys were always something to look forward to in the Windjammer, always brought a smile and laughter. Trilock in the Windjammer was always so friendly and provided advice, really went above and beyond.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The situation with the pools is quite unfortunate/gross. Parents are not supervising their kids, the pools had to be shut down several times because kids had "accidents" or got physically sick. We avoided going into the pools because of this and that should not happen for the amount of money we had to pay for this trip. There needs to be more adult only pools, age limits for children so these "accidents" don't happen and ruin everybody else's cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The stageshow's were just amazing! The performers were phenomenal especially AQUA-ACTION and STARBURST. The Wizard of Oz was also great.

Children's Programs

Did not go to children's programs as we were 3 women traveling together with no children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waitstaff, room steward and guest services were all so friendly, helpful and ready to solve any issues. Really fantastic.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Some of the layout was a bit odd, like having to go through Playmakers to get to the Starburst show or through the Music Hall to get to the casino. The adult only pool is not adequate enough, there should be at least a couple--particularly the Swim and Tonic one should be aduly only. Everything was always clean and well-maintained. The staff worked so hard to make sure everything was great.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin steward Julio did a great job keeping our cabin cleaned and stocked. The size was a bit cramped for 3 adult women and the couch was definitely not a great bed as a pull out/down bed might have been.

Ship tip

Travel light if possible as there isn't a lot of storage space to unpack. See as many of the night time shows as you can, they are fantastic and you might want to see them twice so schedule them early in your trip.

Disembarkation

We took our own luggage off and went through the disembarkation process so quickly we were at the airport with several hours to wait before our flight. Was such an easy and smooth process.
