Embarkation

After we answered health questions, we were gifted with an Express check-in. I would equate it to a fast-pass or better yet, the key. We were admitted in right after the Suite and Pinnacle guests. Everything went smoothly and so quickly. We were on board by 10:45am.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had most of our breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer, which is saying a lot. We are not big fans of buffets. It was clean, and the staff was always present to refill drinks at the tables. The food was delicious. I wish I had pictures, but I was already diving into my dish by the time I remembered to take a picture. We had dinner in the MDR. They switched up couple of the menu themes. One was Dining as an Icon. Lobster was available on two separate nights not just one. Other spots tried were Surfside breakfast. It didn't have a large selection but still was a nice alternative. The churros were one of our family's favorite as long as they were fresh and warm. I love having a quick bite at the Pearl Cafe. I found myself making two stops per day. El Loco Fresh, Sorrento's, and Sprinkles are staples for us when cruising. Sorrento's had a new pizza option. El Loco Fresh's line was long most afternoona but went quickly. s

Onboard Activities

There are so many activities, I wished I were able to complete a B2B. Time was not on our side. Thrill Island, Chill Island, Surfside, entertainment, shows, ice skating, rock climbing, flowrider, trivias, Dueling Pianos, and so much more. The Aqua show wasn't complete but still action packed 30- minutes. Wizard of Oz was...I fell asleep. My family absolutely loved. My husband was distracted by Toto. We will have yo book again just for ship and not the ports.

I would have no reservation about booking the Infinite Family Balcony during the Winter months. I would never do so in late through early fall. It made for the best naps when window was down. The AC does cut off when the window is open. The bunks beds were the special feature My husband and I had been looking for when traveling with kids. We appreciated having the "Balcony" space included because it made the room.feel more spacious.

Ship tip

When sailing have a plan but allow it to be fluid, flexible. Don't be afraid to try something new from food, activities or simply having a conversation with a fellow cruiser. Pack your magnets. They also have hooks on the walls as wall. Shoe hanger for organizing and storage. I don't care what those videos post. There wad less storage/ closet space in our cabin.

We did a dolphin excursion. Everyone in my family, 45 y/o down to the 8 y/o, loved this the most. The island was beautiful.
