Review summary

Family cruise with 11 of us. All had a great time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Super fast to get on. Convenient parking options and no waiting to board.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dinner every night in theMDR and most meals were very good. A couple tough steaks but otherwise, food was better than past experiences. Waitstaff was fantastic and above and beyond. We had three young kids with us and they spoiled them!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Tons to do but sometimes long lines. Waited in a few lines only to be turned away because we didn’t have laced shoes or shirt with sleeves. Didn’t know of these requirements ahead of time or we would have come prepared. Pools were packed!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Better than average but you have to reserve ahead or get there really early for a seat.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Kids loved it. By midweek they were asking to go.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship but it is very big so be prepared for a lot of walking, busy stairs and waiting for elevators.

Ship tip

Just relax. You may have a line to wait in from time to time but it’s fine. Reserve your shows early!

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Stayed near the ship. Had drinks and chips with salsa, delicious. Did some shopping but it was very hot and humid, so happy to get back on board for air conditioning.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did an excursion to a resort, plus seeing sloths and monkeys. Fantastic.

Cozumel, Mexico

Love this port. Did the Amazing Race excursion and had a great time! Highly recommend.

Galveston, Texas

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Very crowded. No one seemed to wait for their assigned time so a long line to get off with self assist. Disembarkation is on 5 which is also where you can get coffee so it was a bit nuts trying to get where you needed to go. Once the line started moving, not too bad.
