Review summary

Nice relaxing vacation except for the first two ports. Not enough time to shop in the first two ports.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was so-so in the main dining room and Windjammer. Food was cooked too fast, not to our liking. Food overcooked or undercooked.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Too many activities at the same time; had to make choices as to which you wanted to go to. Pools were not crowded

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows were great. Book them early or as soon as you can. They fill up fast.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Kids loved the clubs and entertainment. When not in the pool, they were at the clubs.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our Room Steward, Rennial, was great. Very attentive. Our waiter and assistant waiter was not as attentive and needs some improvement.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Some places were hard to find. Past by the attic several times before finding it. Need a pool in the solarium, not just hot tubs.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Rough with 2 adults and 2 kids (almost teenagers) but we managed. Clean room all the time. Rooms only get cleaned once a day, instead of 2.

Ship tip

Watch the you tube video about the ship. We would have been lost, if we had not done so.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did the highlights, rum and chocolate factory. We got a few highlights, the rum and chocolate factories were not factories instead they were stores. The van packed 12 people in it and very hot with no AC. I would not recommend this excursion, not what we paid for. The owner of the excursion does not pay his tour guides. The money they make is what is given by tips. Don't waste your money on this excursion.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
We did the Mayan experience and then had lunch with a Mayan Family. The walk to the tour guide was not a 10 minute walk. It was hard to find and then had to stand in line for 45 minutes to get to the bus for the excursion. Not well managed at all. Need to have a trolley or a bus at the wharf to bring you to the tour office. Excursion was nice, however, the tour guide was loosing the interest of the kids, and there was no place to sit and listen; experiencing the food with the Mayan family was nice.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Absolutely wonderful. Shopping at the wharf. The excursion we did was the Island Roots, Honey and Cacao Chocolate. Learned a lot about the Melopina bees, the honey and how cacao is made. Learned a lot about the Tequila and tasting of the Tequila. We also were able to taste the steak, chicken and tacos while we were tasting the Tequila. I would recommend this excursion to all, even if you have children. The children get to taste the cacao and the tacos and the adults get the tequila.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
One of our bags lost its tag and took a while to find. Disembarkation was fine. Getting out of the port was easy and not congested.
