Enjoyed the cruise, would have chosen the outside balcony if I knew the inside one was so noisy and hot.
Specialty dining and shows were great.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Very smooth, much less standing in line than Disney
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main seated dining was a 7 of 10 (good service but food was not top notch). Specialty restaurants were definitely much better (Wonderland, Chops, Jamie’s, Izumi). Buffets were also a 7 but easier than sitting for 1.5 hours in the main dining room with a child.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools, massages, napkin folding, kids club, adult hot tub
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Grease was a 10! Better than some Broadway shows I have seen (we were in the first row and my granddaughter was enthralled).
Water shows were impressive.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Lots of simple games but not nearly as many preplanned activities as Disney.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Service was good but did not appreciate the hard sell from spa massage therapists and main dining room waiters (asking for “10” rating).
Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Inside balcony was OK but too hot (no breeze on inside of ship) to sit out there. After separated beds could barely get out balcony door.
Did sloths and snorkeling tour. Terrible meeting up for the bus to the wildlife venue (walking through town for 1/2 mile surrounded by random men, traffic, broken sidewalks). No way this was accessible although one young man managed.
Sloths were awesome! Worth the pain of getting to the tour bus. Snorkeling was good, not a whole lot to see (most reefs gone). Boat crew was great. Food was OK at beach, lovely setting, clean water.
Yeah, totally get what you're saying about the inside balcony. We had one overlooking Central Park on the Allure of the Seas back in 2022. Man, it was scorching and crazy loud! Definitely not making that choice again.
