Review summary

The best one this year! I love this class of ship! So much to do and see. Excellent relaxing week. Only hit one storm leaving cozamel but it wasn’t as bad on this ship. My favorite ship so far. I do wish royal was better about loyalty. First cruise as emerald and no thanks for moving up a level gift. I want to book another but hope this changes. Overall very happy and the week always goes to fast

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Main Dining Room

4 out of 5

Excellent service from Wendy and our main waiter. Portions seemed smaller but better choices for all kinds of food. Overall it was better then on previous cruises. Speciality gave you bigger portions by far

Park Cafe

Excellent variety never empty of a selection. If you get in here at the right time you miss the crowd

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools, abyss, pickle ball, mini golf, so much to do. If your bored on this ship something is wrong. I didn’t get to do everything I wanted to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Saw the musical grease and loved it. One of the best. The ice show 1887 was good. Columbus was weird but I did like the Jimmy Buffett songs. Overall flow of it was weird. Comedians good. So much to do on the cruise compass.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
So many nice people. Cassandra our steward was friendly. Wait staff in MDR and speciality all good. Guest services friendly. Officers also very nice. Sports deck staff also good.

Ship Quality

Cleaning a lot all areas. Very clean well maintained. It’s also the newest ship I’ve been on but I’d go back

We did a snorkel excursion. Beautiful waters. Equipment not as new but I’ve done it before. We had good guides and learned a lot. We had a small beach club after but it was cloudy weather.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Bike and clear kayak excursion. The bikes were old but it was an experience. We kayaked out to clear Reef then could eat and drink before going back to ship.

Cozumel, Mexico
