won't do a big ship again - to large, too many people

Embarkation

because we paid extra for suite, it went quite well

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
again, due to extra cost of suite we were able to eat at upscale dining room. other wise food was "okay". nothing really special.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools were always jam packed, slides were fun, carosal for little one.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
ice show and water shows were excellent. again, due to extra cost of suite we got great seats.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
for the most part they were great. Danny in the dining, excellent. On disembarkation however we were kind of pushed out.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
pretty ship, clean - way too big - so much walking to get everywhere.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Lots of space

Ship tip

prepare to walk a lot

We love Oasis class ships, but we typically don’t cruise when the kids are out of school so we can avoid the crowds. It is a lot of walking, but the shows are wonderful!

Mega ships are not for everyone. However, we like large ships as well as small ships.

Try a smaller ship for your next cruise, that might help you enjoy cruising. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Paying extra does get you some perks! Research will tell you that this is an extremely large ship. Is this your first cruise?
