Review summary

We had a great time with great weather. Our expectations were met. This type of ship is activity and entertainment focused. It takes a few days to get accustomed to the ship and all it has to offer. The only thing we missed was a nice open air area to relax. The pool area was far too congested and the solarium was too stuffy but had awesome views. We prefer ships that have a nice promenade area to sit and view the ocean. However, we would not hesitate to sail Harmony or another Oasis class again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were very surprised at how efficient the process was considering the amount of guests. We had read horror stories of embarkation for the Harmony but appears those issues are resolved now that's there is no testing etc.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
MDR was excellent. Food and service was some of the best in all our cruises. We had traditional dining. I'm not sure if we would have enjoyed the My Time dining as every evening as we left there was a crazy long line of folks waiting to get in. /// We are not fans of the Windjammer. Some may love it but it was far too congested for the size of this ship and just not fans of the quality of food. Also had a very odd entrance compared to other cruises. // Johnny Rockets is complimentary for breakfast and was our favorite. Park cafe was also a nice place to grab something lite for breakfast or lunch.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of activities but keep an eye on opening and closing times. Everything (rock wall, zip line etc) may not be opened all day. If you want to ice skate, check the cruise compass when it's offered and get there early to secure a time slot as you can not book that via the app.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There is no class of any ship that compares to the quality and variety of entertainment. Top line entertainment all around.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was great as were the rest of the staff on the ship.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and was in great condition. We were very surprised though at the lack of hand washing/sanitizer encouragement there was except at the Windjammer. This was the first cruise we've taken where no one was spraying your hands when getting back on the ship from ports. /// The ship is spectacular. We did miss the limited amount of ocean view venues unless you were on the top deck. Even the track on the promenade deck is mostly blocked by life boats.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Enjoy all the ship has to offer. There is so much it can be overwhelming, but enjoy each day to truly take it all in.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Good experience even considering 2 ships were in port. We personally preferred MSCs Ocean Cay as it was more relaxing.
