Wonderfull Cruise! Already booked another for next year!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I heard some horror stories about embarkation but it went very smoothly for my family of 7. The lines seemed long at first but they moved quickly.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food in Main Dining Room and Solarium were great. The food in the Windjammer was meh. It wasn’t bad but not what I have come to expect from Royal Caribbean. I had the refreshment package but I did buy a couple alcoholic drinks. They weren’t very strong so if I wanted a strong drink I ordered an AMF.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Plenty to do but it was nice to sit back and relax.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We saw Grease which was fabulous but might have been a little raunchy for children. We ended up seeing the Aquashow a few times because our cabin was nearby and it was just fun watching the diving, swimming and acrobats.
The live entertainment in Bolero’s was also very enjoyable and got you moving.
I did not care for the DJ in the Attic. I guess he/she doesn’t realize there are other songs to get people on the dance floor besides that “Waddle” song. The dj could have taken a tip or two from the music played at the Oasis Lagoon in Cococay.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Phenomenal service from all personnel with the exception of Guest Services. I’m not one of those who believes that the customer is always right but their favorite line seems to
be, “There’s nothing we can do.”
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I saw workers constantly cleaning all common areas except for Mini Bites which looked a little messy when I walked by.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Bed could have been a bit more comfortable but I had no problem falling and staying asleep every night. Yes, it was a trek to the elevators but we did like the fact that we had a back way to the Aquatheater and we were able to sit up there for the shows.
All the cruise excursions were booked so I booked a tour with Thenford Grey tours. Mr Grey is fabulous and a wonderful gentleman. You can see/hear the pride he has for his beautiful island. The ages in my party ranged from 21 to 78 and we all enjoyed this tour tremendously. Highly recommend.
For. ship of this size and the amount of passengers, disembarkation wasn’t bad at all. My family and I took advantage of putting our luggage outside our stateroom by 10p on the last night and having it picked up. We had breakfast the following morning and when they called our number the line did seem long at first but moved rather quickly and our luggage was very easy to locate.
