Very enjoyable experience with many highlights. The shows were great, our room was lovely. Central Park is always a lovely stroll and the Park Cafe was my favorite place for lunch.

So simple. We had all of our documents ready and sailed right through each station. We were onboard in minutes!

Food and Dining

We loved the Park Cafe every day for lunch. The buffet at the Windjammer was a bit disappointing for breakfast so we went to the Main dining room instead. I think the new staff and lack of staffing just made it difficult for the food to be hot at the buffet. The main dining room for breakfast and dinner was amazing! Arnold and Aquilles took amazing care of us every single night. My son enjoyed three baskets of bread and steak every single night which is the dream of a 15 year old boy! My daughter was so thrilled with dessert every single night and cleaned her plate leaving the dining room stuffed which was amazing because she eats like a bird at home. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the roasted vegetables at Sorrento's. Being diabetic it was a wonderful snack available to him any time.
Onboard Activities

Our biggest disappointment was the "Sports" pool. There were no sports in the pool. It was really an adult pool for ages 13 and up that stood around to drink in the pool. On our previous cruise with Royal the sports pool had volleyball and water aerobics daily. Lead by the cruise director. We were very sad and will look elsewhere when we cruise next because of this.
Entertainment

Loved the Boys and Grease and Grease, and the comedy shows, both kids and adults. Enjoyed the ice skating show and the aqua theater but disappointed it wasn't a full show and just a showcase.

Service and Staff

Loved our waiters Arnold and Aquilles! Also the head waiter at breakfast I didn't get his name but he ran through the dining room at breakfast telling us "dolphins" and we all were looking out the windows and it was April 1st and he was playing a joke. He had a stuffed dolphin. It was seriously hilarious. Such great service from all of the main dining room employees. I only had one issue with Peach Schnapps. It does go bad and begins to tasted like rotten peaches. I could not get a drink that had Peach Schnapps because each time I ordered one the Peach Schnapps had spoiled. It is an alcohol that needs to be refrigerated and can't be left where it is warm or the peaches rot. Not any staff person's fault and they always brought me something else quickly. Unfortunately I was only ordered Peach Schnapps because the ship ran out of strawberry for daiquari's.
Ship Quality

I absolutely love Central Park and we had our room on that floor also. So with the Trellis Bar and the Park Cafe, I almost never had to leave deck 8. Seriously the entire ship is beautiful. I do find it odd that there is no where to leave a dirty glass when you are finished with it or a plate. Or even a garbage can to throw out a tissue. They are well hidden but it means people leave glasses anywhere.
Cabin / Stateroom

Super clean. Loved the balcony and the chairs and ottomans. Very comfortable for the time we spent in it which was minimal.
We did not do an excursion. The island is still trying to come back from the devastation a few years ago and the pandemic certainly didn't help. Wish we had knows about the Star Wars connection before we went because we would have visited but we didn't know anything about it.
Of course it was perfect. Our cabana at the water park was lovely although a huge amount of money. Certainly it would be worth $699 but the price increase right before the cruise seemed unfair. The wave pool was awesome however I do wish there had been inner tubes or noodles to float on. The family slides were perfect. My kids enjoy the body slides. We toured the entire island and it seems like there is something for everyone. So glad we didn't get a cabana at the lagoon pool because the volume was crazy loud. I was also disappointed that there were people to help guests in wheelchairs navigate the sand. My husband and son helped a poor lady trying desperately to push her husband in a sand wheelchair to get food at the snack shack. I am glad we were there to help her. I was just surprised that staff weren't available.
Super simple and we had our last breakfast in the main dining room. My daughter was absolutely in love with the chocolate chip pancakes and was sad to leave them.
