Review summary

My wife became I'll on the first day. She ate a pepper salad at sorentos, it had mussels in it. She is highly allergic. There was no label to indicate the contents. It took 24 hours to get NEW sheets and pillow cases. The cruise was booked 1 year in advance and 2 other couples decided to join us. We were not able to be seated together until day 2. We could not rectify this for months prior to sailing, ( privacy issues). Poor business acumen since we were celebrating a wedding anniversary.

Was the cruise line aware of your wife’s allergy? Because I am highly allergic to vinegar, and all the waiters knew.

That’s odd it took so long to get new bedding. It seemed to us the attendant was in our room like twice a day straightening things up.

I didn't know Sorrento's even served salad, good to know

A common allergen like seafood should probably be labeled.

Maybe ask next time not the ships fault

It’s always important to ask about specific ingredients, especially if there is an allergy. Many items prepared on ships and in foreign countries may have ingredients many would not normally expect.

That’s terrible. But I feel like a pepper salad with muscles would be specifically labeled... Yikes

Should always ask what is in something before ordering especially if you are allergic to something
