We enjoyed our cruise. This was our first time on Royal Caribbean and the first time on a ship this size.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I was very pleased with the Windjammer and the main dining room. We ate at Jamie’s only because it was a gift from our travel agent. It was good and a change from the mar.

Park Cafe

5 out of 5

This was a nice change from the Windjammer for lunch. Wonderful Oatmeal Raisin Cookies!

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

Good food. Plenty of variety. Often hard to find a seat.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I really didn’t take advantage of many activities. I enjoyed sitting out by the pool.

Running Track

5 out of 5

A good place to get some exercise!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The one I saw was very good. Some were canceled due to bad weather.

Central Park

5 out of 5

Loved this area. It was beautiful and a great place to take pictures.

Card Room

4 out of 5

We enjoyed playing cards in this room. There was plenty of space. There were not many games available. I don’t know that it was a really good place for a library or computer use.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
They were all very hard working, polite and attentive. They met all our needs!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It was a beautiful ship. The one thing I didn’t like was there weren’t places where you could sit inside and see outside. You can see outside at Windjammer, but it is usually crowded and hard to get a seat near the windows or closed. Central Park was beautiful!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was a very nice cabin. My only complaint was the size of the bathroom. It was tiny!

Ship tip

It is a huge ship!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
I went directly to the terminal and went straight home afterward. The space center would be a wonderful place to visit while in the area. We have taken our now adult children there a couple of times and they loved it!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
It was beautiful. I even enjoyed sitting under an umbrella while it rained for about an hour.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Enjoyed our tour

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
Enjoyed double-decker bus tour which included Maho Beach where we saw planes landing and taking off.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We waited probably 15 minutes in an extremely long line. Once the line started moving it was a very fast process. If we had waited another 20 or so I think we could have walked right off

If you want to be able to sit inside & see outside you'll have to book a smaller ship in the Radiance or Vision class. There's not as much to do on those ships & the entertainment is not as professional but they're my favorite ships. I actually feel like I'm on a ship because I can see the ocean from inside the ships. The shows are good just not as elaborate as the big ships.
