Review summary

We would do this ship and cruise again, now knowing what to do and what not to do now.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
easy to get on the ship. no lines

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
workers do not have a nice tone about them. Anytime dinning is not anytime you go there and they tell you when to come back and wait in line again. we eat early and the early dinning was not available. We only were able to eat dinning twice.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We loved that the pools were open when we boarded the ship and opened early everyday and the late hours for the pool. we did not do the rock climbing but kids loved it. Fitness Center was huge! People on the ship will move your towels out of your chairs if you walk away for one minute. Not enough for everyone to lay out by the pools.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
OH Grease was amazing!!! do not like that you have to make reservations for shows because there are no good seats when doing the wait line and didn't get to see some due to that. also after reserving shows if you miss it you cant re-reserve it at another time.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Teens loved the living room, hang out and all the activities. not much for the 18 to 21 year old's to do.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
they are like robots with not so friendly tones about them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
beautiful ship!! very slippery when it rains and a lot of people fell. They need way more attendants to help keep areas from slippery areas to keep the water off as much as possible. The safety is the worst I have ever seen.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Large Cabin would stay in that one again but would like to stay on the end cabin for a better view of the shows.

Ship tip

know all the food place times. They all closes so early except for the pizza bar. even the ice cream closes at 7pm. it goes out alot too so better get in that line when you see it or you may not get any. drink machines go out a lot too but you can go to the bar and get cokes.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

1 out of 5
Love St Marrten Island but the excursion was double decker bus with rum, cheese, icecream and Moho beach stop which we didnt get to do because we were running behind on time. we should have did beach, shopping and the Moho Beach that day. views were beautiful

Disembarkation

Not clear on the times to get off the ship they want you off at 6:30 am no later than 7:40. next time i will have them take my luggage off and we will have breakfast and then get off the ship. we waited 3 hours out side the terminal for our ride.

It's necessary to reserve shows on the big ships because of the number of people aboard. I reserve some of the shows twice in case I miss one of them. The ice show & the diving show has 2 different shows so I book both of them. I also reserve a time for My Time Dining so I don't have to wait in line. I reserve the 5:30 time slot. I call Royal Caribbean directly to make all reservations because it's too complicated if I'm making reservations for more than 1 cabin. I make reservations as soon as they allow me to, anywhere from 90 to 120 days out. Hope this helps.

i agree. it does stink to reserve everything ahead of time but if u do and show up ½ before show start then u will see all u want.

Sign up for your shows before you get on the ship. The lines will be long and the seats will be limited if you wait till you get on board to do it. Fabulous ship! Nothing but friendly people and wonderful times
