Review summary

This was our first cruise. We were asked to go as babysitters for,our 4 grandkids so that their parents could party with a group of friends who were on the same cruise. We were up at 7 and in our rooms by 8, so we did not really see much of the adult ship life. That said, we were amazed at this ship. It never seemed crowded except maybe by the pools. The kids were 2, 5, 8, &11, so we were with them all the time, but it was great. Plenty to keep them busy and the ships size made the transition from one activity to another smooth and easy. We can’t wait to sail on Harmony again with our friends to see the adult side of a cruise. We already booked for next year!

Long lines but they made it move quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food and drinks were super, but the people taking care of you made everything perfect

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Since we were babysitting for our grandkids, we did not benefit much from these activities. Everything the kids did was amazing and again the staff was great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cannot say enough about the people we had serving us everywhere on the ship. Could not have asked for better!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is a relatively new ship, so the expectations were high. They work hard at making everything perfect.

Ship tip

Read the daily activities card delivered to your room. So much more to do than meets the eye. Do not be afraid to ask/talk to the ships staff they are a wealth of knowledge and can get you most anything you need to help you enjoy your time.

Sounds great

How sweet. I would do that for my daughter as she would not have a very good time worrying about her kids. Grandparents are the best. I miss mine dearly.

You are great grandparents. I wish you could have had at least one evening to yourselves. Enjoy YOUR cruise!

You should have dropped the kids off at the day care and hit the bar and hot tub. Kind of selfish to make you watch their kids.

We love being the G,s. We only watch them in the evenings. The kids are so much fun. We get to talk about their day and then put them to bed. Of course they fall off to sleep in record time after having such busy days. Making memories.😊.

You are awesome grand parents...we did that too but my grand kids were older...I would get them up at 7 am and go to the windjammer gor breakfast and plan our day...but my kids and grand kids would stay out watching a movie or doing kareoke...my 10 year old grand daughter sang kareoke and had the whole room cheering it was crazy fun!!!

Kuddos to you for babysitting! As a mother of 3, I know we dont trust just anyone with our kids and a grandparent would be first choice. Plus, you were able to enjoy all of your grandkids, and if they're anything like mine, their varying personalities! Im so happy, though, that you will get to experience the adult life with your own friends. Enjoy!!!
