photos were another sore point. we had 19 people in 7 staterooms in our group. when they took pictures we tried to give them all our room numbers. They said no, only 1 room was necessary. But at the end, they would not let us pick photos from our group of rooms - only the room we personally were in. If my face was in the picture, they'd move it to my room - but I don't want pictures of myself - I want pictures of my kids and grandkids! Also, there were several times when the picture was attached to a room when no one from that room was present. Absolutely nothing I said would get them to let us pick & choose from the 7 rooms. To get all the pictures, they wanted $2,100. Yes, over two thousand dollars! They were willing to give us a "deal" of only $1,200. That was the last straw. I will never use Royal Caribbean again.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
It was all about how to get you to spend more money. The included food was only OK. Beverage packages were easy to buy, but hard to use. There were only 4 Coke Freestyle machines on the ship. Three times I had to try all 4 machines before I found one that worked. Beware, the non-alcoholic beverage package does not include non-alcoholic beer. I had 3 separate arguments with 3 separate beverage managers before they allowed my husband and I to have non-alcoholic beer included. They said they'd remove all the previous charges, but did not. $8.33 for one bottle of non-alcoholic beer.
Onboard Activities

many things were a lot of fun. they did a good job with designing and organizing activities to minimize crowds. But where access to certain spa facilities used to be free, they now costed. Specifically, the saunas and steam rooms now required a fee of $200 per person to access. True, unlimited for the duration, but no single use pass was available.

most of the staff was top-notch - unless they were selling something. The cabin steward and waiters were absolutely wonderful!
Ship Quality

the design of this ship was a significant improvement over Freedom of the Ses that we used several years ago. the room was tight of course, but the payout made every inch very useable. Separating areas of the ship into neighborhoods kept much of the crowding down. One very important improvement - all buffets where passengers could touch the serving utensils forced everyone to go through a hand washing station before entering the buffet, not just hand sanitizer, which was all over the place. Unfortunately, several of the sanitizer dispensers routinely ran out.
If you read RCCL fine print...Any of the photo packages only includes your room. So if you take a group photo of multiple rooms...That photo wouldn’t be included in you package. You can still buy it at normal price.
Did u have all the room connected when u booked them? On allure we had 11 of us but I book all under my reservation, all pick were found. Next time try thay.
RC is our go-to line. I think the photo package is cheaper than $1200. Pictures are usually $20 each. You wanted 100 pics?? Hand washing is a great idea! The sanitizers running out is an issue. The soda machines should also work, but they have sodas in the bars and restaurants. Look at the bright side: 19 people in your group got housed and fed and no one got sick or hurt or fell overboard or went to the jail in the ship basement. And I assume you had a great memorable vacation!
Ncl isn’t great with their photos either. We asked if a photo can be shrunken so it could fit in one of there $35.00 picture frame they said no it can’t be done. I said I no longer wanted the picture frame and got upset
