Review summary

Disembarkment caught me by surprise. I rented a scotter which I had to leave in my room, therefore leaving the 5th floor of the ship on a Walker was Hell. Yes I should have asked for a wheelchair, but I was surprised the ramps I had to travel to the ground floor.

All information led me to believe I only needed driver license, marriage license. I had an expired passport and ALL HELL...I showed Medicare, health cards, I did everything except Strip naked. It should be stressed that nothing is acceptable but PASSPORTS when BOOKING.

Drink the faucet water. It is Reverse Osmosis by law. It is the same water in the bottles and served on the ship in all venues. I brought a large bottle of Smart Water. When that was done I filled it from the bathroom sink. We bring liquid drink flavorings and squirt them into the water bottles we bring. Works great. We do this on all our cruises and it saves a ton of money. Carnival's bottled water is cheaper btw, but it's redundant when you have the same water coming out of the bathroom faucet.

It's pretty clear that if you don't have passport you need drivers license and birth certificate. You should have had to specify what type of documentation you would be using during online check in. Also, you really should be using a passport to cruise, anyway

Sometimes they will store the scooter at customer service. I only from there to disembark. It cut off a some steps.

Cruise was Average. The Larger the ship the more people you have on the ship. Plan everything ahead.
