Review summary

We didn’t know what to expect. We had never cruises before and honestly had this idea only older people cruised. We felt like royalty. Everyone was eager to wait on you. We enjoyed all the activities the ship had to offer. We weren’t even able to do everything. One thing shocked up we weren’t expecting the ship to feel so empty. We sailed full and the only time it felt crowded were after a show to get an elevator.

Embarkation

Embarkation was very smooth. The night before I actually had my wallet stolen which just so happened to have all of my identification in it. I was basically panicking that I wouldn’t be able to board the ship. Well royal went above and beyond making sure I got on. There was a little delay getting on the ship because only one machine was working. It took two hours and from what was said it’s usually a quicker process.

We purchased the deluxe dining package. Well worth it. Chops and Jamie’s were our favorites. Sabor is really great too loved the spicy guacamole. Wonderland we didn’t care for. Service was excellent but it was too different for us. I enjoyed the main dining room my husband didn’t. Service for breakfast took an hour just to get our food. For breakfast that is too long. Loved solarium for breakfast and lunch. Buffet but not as packed.

Ship is very clean. We saw them cleaning non stop. We saw them dusting elevators daily. They cleared tables very quickly in the dining room also. Our room was spotless everyday. Sometimes the toilets weren’t flushing that was the only issue we had.

Cabin / Stateroom

More than enough space. We were surprised by the size of the shower. Beds were hard. We are young and woke up very sore. Central Park balcony is very beautiful but so hot. Not sure id book another one of those. Noise wasn’t an issue quite after 11 pm.

Ship tip

Book everything before you board. Splurge and get the dining package. Cafe promenade has great selection specialty coffee drinks don’t bother with Starbucks.

We did express and we’re off within 15 minuets. Our flight left at 10 we were through tsa by 830.

Glad you had a great time. I can’t wait. This will be our 2nd RC cruise. They don’t disappoint. We sail in 27 days.

Rarely with Royal Caribbean you get older people on not like the other cruise lines

It's is so true. After a show the elevators get. Ran sacked by the sweetest people. If you like to keep you toes avoid it and do the stair master.
