Beautiful ship..with nothing to do if you are not into waterslides or tired cruise "belly flop, Hairy chest" activities

Review summary

I would never go on this ship again..or the newer one coming out..I was on Oasis 4 months ago...IDENTICAL SHIP...only added water slides and a TON of people..they did not increase the public areas and there truly was nothing at all to do..it rained and we ended up renting movies..not my idea of a "cruise"..

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Walked right on, very easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Johnny Rockets is $11 on this ship...6.95 on all others. NOWHERE to sit in Windjammer...every single time.. Sabor..4 tables occupied, 50 minutes to get our tacos..

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Like a bad re-run...Bingo..$$$$$$ Belly Flop...Hairy Chest..Marriage game...blah.. If you are not a kid..or not into baking on the deck..as there are no covered areas to sit on deck..there is honestly nothing to do. Large group onboard over 50..zero activities for them. Unless you want a watch...nothing much at all to shop for. VERY disappointed in their onboard shopping. Kate Spade, Cartier...or a watch..

Entertainment

4 out of 5
OUTSTANDING SHOWS...except Columbus..just awful..walked out. Jazz singer is painfully off key...band was great

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Resented having to tip the robots 18%..but no other complaints

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Spotless ship..Not nearly enough places to go..and WHY NO SEATING at the landings..would be a great place to sit and read or people watch. Not nearly enough seating in public areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Best cabin I have ever been given...21st cruise for me

Ship tip

Eat breakfast at Johnny Rockets

Bored people are boring

We have been on the Harmony and Oasis in the past 12 months. We had a great time and booked Symphony for December. We do not cruise to be entertained but enjoy the time to relax without a care in the world. We found plenty to do on board and never ran out of things to do when we wanted to be busy. We tried an inside cabin once and have been on balconies since. I could see how an inside cabin may influence cruise satisfaction for some

Not sure what activities you were looking for that you didn't find...what exactly did you want them to have available?

We have cruised on Oasis and Harmony and it was great - never felt crowded and plenty to do - trying Symphony in December. Just returned from Anthem which nice but we really like the open neighborhoods on Oasis class

We loved Harmony last June. Going again in May. Great ship. Fantastic cruise!

Have you just not had a chance to add your 21 cruises into cruise history? I think they’ve increased the cover charge across the board because I was just on Indy and it was also $11 ... They are very open about the charge too so if you don’t want to pay then you can always choose another option ... Bigger ships aren’t for everyone - Hope you enjoy your next one!
