Review summary

This was my first cruise. It was for a dental conference so I had to go with my office. I would much rather have went with my family. I think this would have made it more enjoyable. Other than that the cruise was very enjoyable. Staff was great other than on the last day at breakfast in Windjammer the cook was not very friendly.

My overall experience was great. I was nervous because it was my first cruise but the crew made me feel really comfortable!

Onboard Activities

Went to the pool and laid out a few times. It was a little windy one day so I didn't stay too long. I went to an ice skating show one night, not positive what it was called but i was really good other than my group had to stand because there was no room to sit.

Went to an ice show one night, not positive what it was called but it was very good. My group had to stand because most of the seats were full or people were spread out and "saving" seats.

Our waitress in the main dinning room was exceptional!!! My room attendant was also very nice and helpful!

Ship Quality

This ship was huge!! It was very full of activities. The cleanliness was great for how many people are on this ship and how fast the turn over has to be. I did notice some areas in my bathroom that had a little buildup in the corners but nothing horrible.

Cabin / Stateroom

I was very happy with my cabin. I was expecting it to be smaller than it was. I was very comfortable in my cabin. I spent a lot of my time here talking to may son and husband back home :D

Ship tip

If you get motion sickness get sea bands. Even though this ship is huge I could still feel the movement and had a couple days where I didn't feel very well.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This was one of my favorite ports we stopped at! Everything was very well priced. I didn't do an excursion. We just went to the beach.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

I wasn't very thrilled with this port. I didn't feel very safe here. We didn't go far from the ship.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

This port was beautiful. However since it is owned by Royal Caribbean I felt it was a little over priced. Again it was beautiful but we mainly just went to the beach.

Disembarkation

Crew was very helpful on what was needed to be done to help make the process as easy as possible.
