Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food and service in the dining room was excellent... Buffet area too crowded and with the intro of handwashing stations normally one had to line up and wait to enter..

Park Cafe

5 out of 5

roast beef sandwiches... recommend this as first place to go boarding ship to avoid chaos in the buffet area....

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The water show was outstanding! and the Guitar play in Park Square Great !

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room service could not had been better !

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
not enough elevators during peek times..

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Disturbing engine noise was constant, also noise from hydaulic lift for elevator bar when moved disturbing.. These cabin should be left vacant, or made available to crew---not paying passengers... this cabin was occupied by my son and daughter... My wife and I had an outside Balcony cabin which was much better by comparison..

Ship tip

Avoid this ship if interested in the peaceful serenity of the sea... It's a mobile bar, restaurant and super mall. quiet spaces don't exist. Even room service comes with a fee.. You are nickel and dimed to death.. Check out Oceania and Seabourn and Vilking for cruising as It should be, and when all is said and done==the cost is not that significantly higher than what you will end up spend on this moving city... Best time to be on ship is when it's visiting a port and most of the passenger on on shore... (this was my 19th cruise-speaking from experience)

You didn't follow proper procedure regarding a drone you have to get written approval, because they have explicit rules about drones onboard.

All ships have hidden elevators. They didn’t activate them just for you. What a shame.

Based on above, you won’t be back because of crowd at buffet and restrictions on use of drones/quads? Cruising just isn’t for you.

ghiagal    6 years ago

Not sure what the issue was, but they clearly state in their poly as do other cruise lines that drones will be collected upon embarkation and held. They will be given to you when you get off at ports. It is your responsibility to verify they are allowed at those ports as many do not allow them.

Yes, a little research beforehand goes a long way!

Should have checked with the cruiselines about drones before your cruise.

Please tell more about that drone case. I think you cant take drone to the ship if you are not professional photographer. 🤔
