I love this class of ship and the Harmony did not disappoint. It is not for everyone but for me the variety of things to do (or not do) is perfect. I like having choices of things to do snd eat and I have that on Harmony of the Seas.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was a breeze. Twenty minutes from taxi to ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was excellent every where except I had a few issues with my room service meals. One morning it never even came. Sometimes things I ordered were not included and they should try not to burn the English muffins. Twice mine came a little too done. Also, you should say that the chicken fingers and grilled cheese come with fries and give the option not to get the fries. I figured there would only be 3 chicken fingers so I placed 2 orders. Each came with a mound of fries. The chicken fingers are horrible by the way and you should really put some butter on the grilled cheese when you prepare it. My jawl was locked trying to eat that grilled cheese. Also, my tomatoe soup was luke warm.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Parades were excellent! I enjoyed the Boardwalk and Central Park a lot. I did the Ultimate Abyss Waterslide and it was good but sadly they couldn’t find my picture. I also enjoyed Simeon and A.J. Jamal in the comedy club.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I cruised Harmony in August and saw all of the shows so this time I didn’t go to any of them but the Conedy Club and Jazz on 4.. I really enjoyed Simeon and A.J. Jamal in the comedy club and the Jazz on 4 band was excellent.
Children's Programs
No children traveling with me.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Although good service no one really stood out. My cabin steward was really good and he kept things in order.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Yes everything was pretty much in great shape. I would suggest some fresheners for the public restrooms though. Some of them weren’t very pleasant.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I love this cabin type. To me the Boardwalk Balcony is the best of both worlds. I can see the I Ocean and also get views of some of the ship happenings. This is my third time in a B.B. This time I was more aware that the cabins across from me could see into my cabin. That meant I couldn’t open the curtains some of the time when I wanted to.
Ship tip
Don’t try to do it all. Pace yourself and don’t save everything till the end of the week. Look at the daily Compass and decide what is most important participate in. And plan some down time to relax and enjoy the ride.
It was ok. Love the luggage valet! You have to do better releasing people though. Spent way too much time between time of last SeaPass scan and terminal line to see Customs Agent.
