Review summary

Wonderful cruise! Will be on the ship for 2 weeks (b2b) in December, so only 5 weeks to wait before boarding again. Wanted to mention that the big hot tubs had a lot of sand on the bottom. Really needed cleaning. Also, there were a lot of people bringing their drinks in glasses into the hot tub. It is either allowed or not, make up your mind and enforce it!

Embarkation

Quickest and smoothest we've ever encountered.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
MDR food was really good. Only once I didn't like something, and they promptly took care of it. They really do try, and it showed.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't do these activities. Hubby did sign up for the table tennis tourney, but whenever the two of us wanted to play, the tables were always occupied. Wish you could sign up for a time to play.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were fantastic, especially grease. Columbus was good as well, and the scenery was fabulous.

Children's Programs

no children!! Duh.

Service and Staff

I was especially impressed with the officers and especially Captain Johnny. They all made us feel so welcome and were so friendly. Room attendants were ok, and our waiters were great.

Cabin / Stateroom

OMG, the boardwalk balcony was so loud, we had to keep the door and drapes closed all the time. Might as well have had an inside room. The room itself was great. On the smallish side, but great layout and storage. Loved the shower. Bigger and better shape than other Oasis class ships.

Ship tip

Don't get a boardwalk balcony if you don't like LOUD invasive noise and music from 8am until midnight.

We only got off at Labadee, and it was great.

Falmouth, Jamaica

Didn't get off as we'd been there many times before.

Cozumel, Mexico
