Review summary

Very expensive. Food availability in only 2 places past 10:30 with only pizza and bite sandwiches ok for 1 or two nights but gets old after a while , there should be more open when there are still a lot of people out and about the ship past midnight. the included Food selections were redundant and had to pay extra for quality food after spending thousands of dollars for the trip itself. Kids wanted snacks late and we had to horde desserts (if we remembered) to bring to the room. Charging a fee for room service is crazy. We had a great time and it was a wonderful experience, there was plenty to keep you busy and the Kids enjoyed it immensely, i but the likely-hood of returning often is a negative when you can go to Europe for the same price.

Food was good , but redundant. Had to spend the extra money for the quality food. Strongly recommend pre booking specialty dining packages. you can change restaurants and plans when you get on the ship. get the soda package or delux package with the combo internet package.

All activities were enjoyable. not crazy busy surprisingly for having 6,000 people on the ship.

Entertainment

Book your shows!! see them all . They are amazing. If you do not book the shows you still will get to see the shows but it is on space availability and seats may not be good. people who book in advance will get to arrive early and get seats first before they let non reservation guest in.

Children's Programs

my kids are teens. 13 and 17 and both loved the club actives. highly recommend getting them involved in this right away , you will never see them on the ship. HINT.

Ship tip

book everything in advance. you can always change stuff when you are aboard. download the RC app. bring lots of sunscreen. no "drug" type store on ship only VERY minimal items in one store. You do not have to wear formal attire if you do not want to. it may be fun to dress up but it is not necessary - you can wear shorts.

VERY HOT- we did the RACE excursion. it could have been fun for young athletic in shape people. But it was very very very hot and it is a lot of walking not a lot of shade and thinking about it now for us we paid a lot of money to be miserable. it would have been more enjoyable to just take the water taxi over and pay, 15 bucks for a lounge chair and then paid to ride Jet skis. probably a lot cheaper too.
