Review summary
The Harmony of the Sea ship was spectacular in its size, decor, and what it had to offer in terms of entertainment and activities. Food and service was good and plentiful. However, I had the constant sense of "upselling", whether it be very expensive "specialty" restaurants, jewelry, a variety of ship-sponsored photo ops, etc. If one is not careful, one could very easily spend an amount equal to at least 50% the cost of the cruise, or more. Also, the ship's size accommodated over 6000 passengers. This made competition for deck chairs around the pools very difficult. The early claimer of deck chairs, "camped out" most of the day, leaving very little for those that choose to sleep a little later.

Ship tip
Definitely plan you activities early. Where you can, do it before the cruise. If not, do it as soon as you board. For example, we knew we did not want to participate in the two formal nights in the dining room, so we booked specialty restaurants for those two nights (food was good but expensive).
