Review summary
This was our 6th RC cruise. The shows are great. The food can be hit or miss. I recommend the Specialty restaurants over the dining room if you don't mind spending a little more. The Mexican Restaurant on the Harmony...Not so much. The food was very bland and boring. We made several dinner reservations 2 months prior to sailing. On the 3rd night we head to Izumi-Hibachi/Sushi as stated. Upon arrival we find out that we can not order Hibachi. Apparently they are 2 different restaurants with the same name. Since we do not like Sushi we asked if we could have the 9:30 pm reservation on the hibachi side that showed availability on their cruise app that they recommend you download. I got to hear the less then accommodating manager tell us he has nothing and has a 200 guest waiting list did we want on it? He stated he only has 3 chefs to do the Hibachi experience, Its a entire show!!. His arrogance is what I found disturbing. Maybe a "I am sorry" would have been nice. The purser desk wasn't much help either. Her response was "Do you want we to send something to your room?" I wasn't trying to get anything for free. Just an apology would have been nice. I actually made two attempts at the purser desk to get an apology with no success. The one girl did call Izumi to talk to him and I heard the phone click before she finished the conversation trying to find out the situation from the manager of Izumi.
