Review summary

This particular cruise had very interesting circumstances. In order to avoid the path of Hurricane Florence, the destination of the cruise was changed from Bermuda to the Bahamas. It was also extended from 5 days to 9 days. Despite the complications, I still had a blast. The crew was extremely accommodating, the experiences were still really great, and I still found myself occupied for the entire trip.

I had some of the best food and drink I've ever had in my life on this cruise. Izumi especially was absolutely magnificent. The dining room staff brightened our trip significantly. Ping and Fernando were absolutely great.

Best place for a drink on the whole ship! Lovely view, neat trivia activities, comfy seats, homey decor, and great service by server Jay!

AMAZING! Some of the best food I've ever had, all served up by the wonderful duo of Ping and Fernando, who brightened up our trip immeasurably.

Onboard Activities

Most activities were very nice. I loved that there was a separate adults-only pool. I was a little disappointed by the small size of the arcade, but that was the only real bummer.

Everybody was incredibly friendly and helpful. Standouts were Ping and Fernando as waiters in the dining room, Kumar as our stateroom steward, Jay as server in the Schooner bar, and the staff at Izumi.

King's Wharf, Bermuda Did not visit port

Due to Hurricane Florence, we visited Nassau in the Bahamas instead. The port there was very nice. Great bars, cool shops, really nice and friendly locals, and fun excursion opportunities.
