Review summary

The Grandeur is our go to cruise. Close enough to drive to and offers longer cruises and many different ports. The ship has great ocean views from all the main levels inside the ship. Something you have to go out side to see on the larger ships.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and smooth. Always is on the smaller ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Usually do the my time dining. Never had a issue. Wait staff is always great

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
On the 10 plus day cruises the passengers are usually an older crowd. Most on board activities like the rock wall have zero line all the time. You can also do just about everything on the cruise compass. Unlike the mega ships

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Shows were decent and never had to worry about booking.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Never had a problem with the crew on the Grandeur. Always very friendly

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Not as modern as the newer ships. But does offer great views of the sea inside on just about every deck.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Got the job done. Spent most of the time in the centrum

Ship tip

On the 10 day or longer cruises it’s a older crowd. The week during Thanksgiving there was over 300 kids. The week after there was 10. Some of the best ports of call are found on the Grandeur.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

We live down the road nothing we haven’t seen and done here

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
Took a cab to the local beach. Got to use all the hotels ammenities while there for a small fee

Falmouth, Jamaica Did not visit port

Just did the port shops. Been there before

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Nice experience. Water had a lot of seaweed along the shore and a little rocky. Bring water shoes. Once you get past the rocks and sea weed the water was great

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Took less than 30 kin
