Sophis42: I assume you meant well with your review, but as noted above, you must research the ship you are choosing whether you stay on Carnival or pick another cruise line, and find the ship and itinerary that is best for you and those in your cruise party. Carnival does a nice job of providing a very familiar cruise from the ship layout to the entertainment across much of its fleet, but since the ships are so similar in size and in this familiarity, you and your children may someday want to try something different. In any case caveat emptor and bon voyage - verify the match of the ship to your cruise expectations and enjoy your next cruise.

Wait... What? Did you cruise the Pacific onboard the Grandeur? Could you be more specific?

Haha if you enjoy carnival than you probably shouldn't cruise

Keep your kids off my cruise and I’ll be thrilled.

I'm boarding Granduer today and the looking forward to an adult oriented experience, booked with that in mind. As @suesnake said, research!

you spend thousands of dollars, but didn't research the ship?? The grandeur is an older smaller ship, with none of the bells and whistles that children would enjoy. You want splash parks and slides and such, you must sail an oasis class ship. Oh wait yeah the fares are higher
