Review summary

This boat is too old and outdated. It is in bad need of updating and renovation. I have never seen a more tiny shower and I have been on many other cruises. The pillows on my bed were thin and hard and needed to be thrown away and replaced years ago. The food in the main dining room has gone way downhill. Probably because they are too interested in pushing the other restaurants where there is a $$ upcharge to go. I wouldn't recommend this ship

Your Diamond but many are not and dont get the same amenities

We always get an inside cabin because we like total dark when we're sleeping & we didn't get that with the balcony or outside staterooms. Also we're never in our room except to sleep or shower or change clothes. Suite or inside stateroom makes no difference---Grandeur is still the favorite ship as far as we're concerned. If you look for good you'll find it--if you look for bad you'll find it!😎

Suites are very different than an inside cabin. The ship is scheduled for a dry dock in 2017.

Grandeur is our favorite ship that we have sailed on. The crew is so warm & friendly & will do anything to make your cruise fantastic. She is due for a remodel in Apr of 2017.

I have sailed on the Grandeur many times. I have always had suite 8508. Nothing wrong with the bedding. Nothing small about my tub and shower. Nothing small about the Concierge Lounge. Nothing small about the Diamond Lounge. Nothing small about the portions in the MDR. I have already booked more cruises on her. Nothing wrong with the ship in my eyes.
