Review summary

Went for rest and relaxation. Bermuda is not what I'd call a "destination" We arrived around 2/3 and public transportation shut down by 8. Day 2 - Ferries etc do not run until 8 a. Had to be back on ship by 2.Not much time to do or see anything. Bermuda is so small that there was really not much to see.

We were there in May and had 3 full days on the island. For us it was a true destination cruise with that much time to enjoy this beautiful island. We literally saw the entire island, from the Dockyard to St. George's.

Bermuda is not as small as you may think, as some of the locals pointed out to us. I agree there's not much time, but this was no surprise since the trip itinerary clearly tells you the amount of time spent on the island. We took a bus tour the first day spent several hours at horseshoe bay and exploring on our own, the second day we spent shopping and trying different local eateries. To get a real feel of Bermuda my opinion is to venture out of the dockyard the locals we met were very friendly and helpful take the bus or taxis and make the most of your time we made no plans we did everything on the fly and it was a wonderful experience.
