the best part of this cruise was Canada and the entertainment.  Every night the entertainment was very enjoyable.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  The excursions in Boston and Portland were not very good.  We did the freedom walking tour in Boston, most of the time we couldn't hear our guide and he gave wrong  historical facts quite a few times.  We got off the ship in Portland and had to be back on about 3:30.... It was Sunday and hardly anything opened i.e.; museum, Longfellow house or Victorian house till 11:00, 12:00 or 1:00. We ended up having an early lunch, waiting for things to open then only having time to do one thing. We also had 4 separate plumbing problems which we handled quickly. I bought the soda package and it stopped working 2 days before the end of our trip. I tried to refill and the machine would say, no more refills available . It wasn't real convenient either.

Cabin / Stateroom
4 separate plumbing issues....sink didn't drain, dirty water coming UP through the floor drain by the toilet, toilet overflowed, then after that the water level in toilet was so low we literally had to push any solid waste down the toilet by hand
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality

Food and Dining
Soda refills ended Friday morning and we didn't dock till Saturday morning

Tip

Ship was clean and always smelled good. Food at Gatsbys and windjammer very good. The staff was always friendly, prompt and helpful. Nitely shows the best we've ever seen.
Excursions disappointing, plumbing problems, soda drink package not a good idea. We are sailing again on Grandeur in Feb.
