Review summary

The Grandeur of the Seas Ship is on the small, but mighty side. It has everything that you need for a wonderful trip, but no so big that you get lost or confused. The staff were excellent. The Dining Room Servers and our Cabin Steward, were especially accommodating. The waters were choppy on the way out to Bermuda, some rain, which was disappointing. However, our time in Bermuda was fantastic! The weather was perfect. We took the Catamaran trip (offered by , not Royal Caribbean). It was excellent and I would highly recommend it. The Restless Native offered up plenty of activities and hot chocolate chip cookies on the trip back to the ship. Truly a fabulous day! The meals were very good.  We had your traditional beef tenderloin, lobster and shrimp nights.  There was always something for everyone. The comedy shows were  pretty good. My only suggestion is that there should be more activities during the day when you are sea.  The schedule looks full, however, there is usually and upcharge (Bingo at $20.00 per game) or a trivia game with a crew member.  If you are looking to relax and not have a hectic schedule, then this is the cruise for you. The time in Bermuda was short, but we made the most of it. Bermuda is beautiful and certainly worth the trip to see and enjoy. Our cruise consultant Teresa Rechy was so helpful. Her advice was spot on! Would recommend booking with her to help get the most out of your trip!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

There needs to be a better offering of activities when you are at Sea. Most are geared towards the teenages and retirees. You can only drink so much during the day. (or they cost money!)

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The Royal Caribbean Singers and Dancers need to practice a little more. Were not very entertaining. The Comedians were okay.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were at midship on the 8th floor. Very little motion from being on the seas. Clean. Small. But it had everything we needed. Did not spend much time in the room anyway. There is a flat screen TV with a few stations, mostly watched after turning in for the night.

Ship tip

Get to know your Stateroom Attendant. Ours was very helpful. I had a lot dry cleaning/pressing to be done. He helped get it in before I would get late fees.

Stayed the night before we took off on the Ship. Was a nice stay and we were able to be relaxed when we arrived on the ship.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Get off the ship as soon as possible. There is so much to see. Don't waste a minute of it!
