Review summary

Arrival and departure were good, food was great, best value to get the Bar PP package, ship was nice for the size and age of the ship.  Clean.  Waiter and assistant waiter in the main dining room were more than accommodating, Excellent service.  Great personalities and were fun.  Windjammer restaurant was very good with a wide variety of food.  I would like to have had two full days in Bermuda, arriving at 3pm, than one full day and leaving by noon, was just not enough time to explore the island.  Ferry ride to the capital of Hamilton and the city itself were wonderful.

The main problem was smoking passengers, not staying in the smoke areas and the smoke areas themselves were the entire starboard side of the pool deck with no real division, closed off area or proper ventilation. Passengers/Children were subject to the second hand smoke. Going to the pool bar for a drink sometimes meant breathing in smoke.  The Casino was impossible to go to, too much smoke and  even a quick walkthrough had you smelling like an ashtray upon leaving, so we did not use the casino.

We enjoyed the trip, would like to go back to Bermuda, but they really need to fix the smoking.

As a 17 years now ex-smoker I would SUPPORT smoking / non-smoking cruises!!!!

lol...It is unfortunate that many passengers tend to ignore rules on the ship. And smokers are NOT the only ones. Parents that let their kids run wild, let their infants in the pools with diapers on, drunks that in-vibe a bit too much and cause scenes, chair hoggers, passengers that don't wash their hands after using the the restroom. For what it is worth, if anything, we have been on 12 cruises and have ALWAYS abided by the rules when it came to smoking. We do this in respect for other passengers that don't smoke. Do you realize that you have a better chance of getting ill from another passenger boarding with a sickness or that doesn't know how to take a bath on a cruise? It is unfortunate that people fail to abide by the rules but their are those of us that DO and there are more that do than don't! But look around, it's not just on a cruise where others offend......Carnival tried a "Non-Smoking" ship in the past and it failed.

People seem to ignore the smoking rules. I asked a passenger on the pool deck to go to the smoking side and I won't repeat what he said. Deck crew seemed to "not see" the offenders. Book the 7 day next time. More time in port.

I hear ya....the smoke gets worse and worse as the Cruise continues and prevents me from utilizing a lot of areas. Seal the smokers in a plexiglass room with a strong fan to suck the vapours off them before they exit! Dangerous diseases are quarantined, why not be more cautious with smoke? Best yet, I would love the opportunity for a smoke-free Cruise; perhaps Cruiselines could offer a Smoker's Only ship as well. It will never happen : (
