Review summary
If it wasn't for the facts that all the shops and venues were closed when we arrived the cruise would have been great. In the future I will make sure with the cruise line & travel agent that have knowledge of The destination for which I plan to travel.....it was a total BUST!

I've seen it mentioned in a couple of other reviews that Bermuda observed the Labor Day holiday on Monday 9/1. Since most shops on the island are closed on Sunday, it was two days in a row with no shopping.

Why were the shops closed, did anyone explain it to you? Was it a holiday time for Bermuda? I know that shops close on Sundays and we have been affected by this many times not only for shopping but also for visiting churches. I realize that you were upset about not being able to shop but I would have liked to hear your thoughts about the ship and your port of call.

OK, I'm a bit confused. The shops and venues on the ship or on the Island were closed? If it was the ships shops and venues, that is common on ANY ship that visits just about any port! If it was the shops and venues on the Island, they were closed for the 3 day's you were there? Please explain...
