Just an okay trip

Sail Date: June 13, 2014

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

We've cruised with Royal before, but I would not travel on the Granduer again. There was a septic smell along the hallway that we smelled the first day which got worse as the week progressed. Friends traveled on the boat before the refurb took place and they complained during their trip....it's never been fixed and was VERY noticable.  FIFA World Cup was advertised, but they showed only two games on the big screen with sound. It was shown on the Schooner Bar small tv, but sound was only allowed when trivia or napkin folding was not taking place in the same area. Staff was kind, but we had to ask repeatedly for refills and were given the wrong meals and had to exchange our food with other guests that were seated at our table on several occasions.

Cabin / Stateroom I would definitely recommend a larger room if you have children over the age of ten.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Airboat ride was fun
Nassau, Bahamas
Stormed but we were advised to not get off the boat due to high crime.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Kids snorkled and island was beautiful.
