Review summary

Overall a very positive experience and Royal Caribbean is becoming one of my favorite lines (have cruised a lot and had strong preferences before). The staterooms on the Grandeur of the Sea are a bit more spacious and the bathroom had a better layout to make it easier in helping my handicapped husband. The cruise director was an absolute Dynamo and the best I have ever encountered. The selections and variety of food in the Windjammer Restaurant were outstanding and long lines ware rare due to many stations. The Dining Room at dinner, always a highlight for us, was disappointing. We had less experienced waiters and the overall noise level and "side shows " (many passengers obviously like them) took away from our usual dining room pleasure. Wasn't too impressed with the menu selctions either

I know Cozumel and used to go to Kanabah (?) Park all the time. A lovely spot. Not possible with a husband in a wheel chair. If one doesn't shop, it is not worth getting of the ship. Downtown docking would have been a better choice for us

Pros: Windjammer Restaurant, Solarium, great Cruise Director and entertaining captain, wheelchair access to bathrooms on most decks,

Cons: Noise and rushed service in Dining room; Intro of staff on first and last day with constant promting for applause just too much.
